UEFA confirms referees for Bologna v Aston Villa and Crystal Palace v Fiorentina | OneFootball

UEFA confirmed the referees for the quarter-final first legs. Sandro Schärer will take charge of Bologna v Aston Villa in the Europa League, and Donatas Rumšas will oversee Crystal Palace v Fiorentina in the Conference League.

Serie A has two clubs left in Europe. Bologna host Aston Villa at the Stadio Dall’Ara on Thursday, while Fiorentina play the first leg away in London against Crystal Palace.

Schärer, 37, previously oversaw Atalanta’s 4-0 defeat against PSG in the opening Champions League game of the season.

At the Dall’Ara, he will be assisted by Stéphane De Almeida and Jonas Erni, with Fedayi San on VAR.

Rumšas will cross paths with a Serie A club for the first time this season as he takes charge of Fiorentina’s trip to Crystal Palace.

His assistants are Aleksandr Radius and Dovydas Saziedelis, while Rob Dieperink will be in charge of VAR.
