Only European powerhouses Real Madrid and Bayern Munich are sitting above Inter Milan in the latest UEFA rankings.

According to FCInterNews, the San Siro giants have climbed to an impressive third spot in Europe’s club standings.

Indeed, the Nerazzurri saw off Kairat Almaty at San Siro, making it four wins from four league-phase games this term.

In doing so, Inter boosted their UEFA points total to an eye-catching 121,250.

With 129,500 points, record-time European champions Real Madrid remain at the top of the list.

Meanwhile, in-form Bayern Munich sit second at 122,250 points after beating Paris Saint-Germain on Tuesday.

Remarkably, Vincent Kompany’s side maintained their 100% win ratio in all competitions this season with a 2-1 victory in Paris.

As for Inter, they’ve protected their lead over Premier League giants Manchester City (115,750) and Liverpool (113,500).

Perhaps surprisingly, defending champions PSG are fifth with 106,500 points.
