The Under-18 Rossoneri continue their developmental journey with a 3-0 win at home over Cagliari Calcio, marking their third positive result in a row after two draws. Coach Visconti's side are now on 28 points in tenth place, in a season full of twists and turns, but are showing promising signs of maturity. The Club's identity is clear: developing talent and continuing the players' growth.
The squad is made up of players born in 2008 and 2009, with several already part of the Primavera side. A star example of this is Simone Batistini: the captain, who is an emotional and technical leader, as well as the top scorer with six goals. His consistency and daily commitment are a guiding force for the young group, who are improving every match. In his case, as well as in many others, the Club follows an integrated pathway that begins with on-field training with the staff at the PUMA House of Football and aims to nurture the youths into complete players, even before focusing on immediate results.

Coach Marco Visconti commented, "The lads are reading the games well and always staying fully engaged. I'm pleased with it and with their growth in general, which has pleasantly surprised me. I believe there's still room for improvement between now and the end of the season, so we'll have to carry on improving like this, with the aim of bringing as many players as possible into the Primavera or the Under-23 side next year."
The process is what matters more than the standings. The Under-18s are working on their mindset, competitive spirit, and fostering a sense of belonging: crucial values across the AC Milan youth squads. The past few weeks have demonstrated that this is a team that is growing in awareness and able to bring together quality and commitment as part of the long-term technical project.
