Unión and Sportivo Belgrano honour Ángel Di María at the Copa Argentina

In the lead-up to the Copa Argentina match between Rosario Central and Sportivo Belgrano, the Santa Fe club was the protagonist of an emotional tribute to Ángel Di María. The captain of the Rosario Academy and world champion received the affection of the institutions at the stadium on Avenida López y Planes.

Luis Spahn, president of Unión, and Andrés Barovero, his counterpart from Sportivo Belgrano, led the tribute in which "Fideo" was presented with a painting and a commemorative plaque. The gesture celebrated the career of the Argentine star, who returned to the country to defend the colors of Rosario Central in the national tournament.
