Dani Olmo and Pau Victor were the only two new players that FC Barcelona added to their squad in the last summer transfer window, but their registration problems open the possibility of Hansi Flick not being able to count on their services for the upcoming few games.
But in addition to these two players, there was another player who came to play for Flick and who had not been available for Xavi last season, i.e., Ansu Fati.
The winger returned to the Blaugrana club last summer after spending a year on loan in England with Brighton and Hove Albion with high hopes of reestablishing himself under the German tactician but has been unable to do so as he once again struggles with injuries and physical problems.
However, the Spaniard has now recovered from his latest injury for quite some time now, even though he has been unable to play in the last two games despite his availability.
Against Leganes, he was not called up because of limited available spaces in the team, while against Atletico Madrid, he could not get on the pitch because of the situation of the game.

Now, with the Copa del Rey campaign about to start, Hansi Flick could start him against UD Barbastro, and as SPORT has noted, the Blaugranes will be hoping that the winger takes full advantage of this opportunity.
This is particularly the case as Flick does not have many surplus players for the forward positions, and Barcelona need to rotate and rest key starters like Raphinha and Lewandowski whenever they get the opportunity in a highly hectic second half of the season.
Thus, a good second half of the season would not only be a delight for the player himself but also for his Blaugrana club, as he can come in handy for Flick despite his lack of prominence in the first half of the season.
