Austin FC have moved to lock in one of its prized possessions ahead of the 2026 MLS season, with the club signing U.S. youth international star Owen Wolff to a long-term extension.

Per league insider Tom Bogert, Wolff's fresh deal is U-22 initiative contract, rewarding him as a key piece of the long-term puzzle.
The son of USMNT and MLS icon Josh Wolff, Owen had a brilliant 2025 campaign at Q2 Stadium, hitting 7 goals and adding 8 assists in 34 appearances across the regular season, and was a key catalyst for the club's push into the MLS Cup Playoffs.

Wolff also netted Offensive Player of the Year honors for the Verde and Black, leading to the 21-year-old reportedly garnering serious interest from multiple clubs across the league.
The Georgia native remains a player to watch in 2026, and conceivably could make a late push into the USMNT camp for the 2026 World Cup.
