A member of the first-team ranks at La Liga outfit Valencia has seen his future thrown firmly up in the air ahead of the new season.

That’s according to market insider Matteo Moretto, who points towards Stole Dimitrievski as the player in question.

The situation between the posts at Mestalla has of course undergone a considerable change this summer.

This comes, first, after no.1 Giorgi Mamardashvili completed his move to England with Liverpool.

The Valencia brass, in turn, have since moved to bring in goalkeeping reinforcements, in the shape of Julen Agirrezabala.

The talented Spaniard has made the move to Mestalla on loan from La Liga rivals Athletic Club for the season ahead.

Dimitrievski, signed last summer with a view to acting as Mamardashvili’s successor, has in turn seen his status thrown into doubt.

As per a report from transfer journalist Matteo Moretto:

‘Stole Dimitrievski’s future at Valencia is up in the air. Los Che signed Julen Agirrezabala from Athletic Club: the Spanish goalkeeper’s loan includes penalties for non-participation.’

The possibility of Dimitrievski moving on before the close of the transfer window, in turn, cannot be ruled out.
