Valencia wary of Largie Ramazani booking risk | OneFootball

Largie Ramazani’s surge in form has made him pivotal for Valencia, but he is one booking from a suspension going into Sunday’s meeting with Celta.

According to Superdeporte, losing the winger at this stage would hinder Valencia’s attacking creativity, so caution is required.

The Belgian earned his first start of the season in the Ciutat de València derby against Levante and opened the scoring. He then netted a week later versus Villarreal, made it three in a row by striking against Osasuna, and before the break added a key goal against Sevilla. He has five goals this season.

Owned by Leeds, Ramazani has become a fixture in Carlos Corberán’s plans. He has four yellow cards, another would trigger a one match ban. If cautioned again, he would have to sit out the following game.

Right-back Thierry Rendall is in the same situation. Given his injury record, Corberán is more accustomed to covering his absence. If Thierry is suspended in the coming games, he would likely turn to Unai Núñez on the right, an emergency fix that has worked reasonably well before.
