Camara opened the scoring after Gerenabarrena’s astute pass, Diego Barri added two, and Cipenga sealed it at 0-4. According to El Periódico Mediterráneo, the display underpinned Castellón’s fifth clean sheet.
Keeper Matthys was composed with the ball and produced a big save to deny Biuk making it 1-3. Fadel endured a testing debut against the winger but got through it, while Alberto marshalled superbly. Sienra was sharp in the duels and Lucas Alcázar balanced his flank with less attacking thrust.
Barri covered the pitch, won it back, distributed crisply and cracked the woodwork, then scored twice. Gerenabarrena maintained his fine form, assisting Camara, winning plenty of battles and managing the game on a yellow.
Raúl Sánchez, on his first start, grafted down the right and dovetailed with Suero. Suero was a surprise pick and delivered a complete outing, his left foot pivotal from set plays. Cipenga threatened inside and out and delivered one of the goals of the season for the 0-4.
Camara also relieved pressure by securing a couple of long passes and swung the contest with his 0-1 move. From the bench, Mabil worked diligently out wide, Cala lifted the tempo late on, Jakobsen brought energy, and Salva Ruiz shored up for Fadel.
