Vanderlei Luxemburgo has been admitted to the intensive care unit at Hospital Medical Santa Thereza in Palmas, Tocantins, in the early hours of Friday with a suspected lung infection.
According to Globo.com, a medical bulletin describes his condition as stable, he is conscious with normal breathing and blood pressure, and his press office considers there to be no reason for concern, calling the tests routine and previously scheduled but not completed.
