According to Salary Sports, Vasco da Gama’s 2026 wage bill is headlined by Philippe Coutinho, who earns around R$ one point seven million per month, the biggest salary in the club’s history. Figures are estimates and can vary with taxes, agent commissions, bonuses and contractual triggers, with sporadic payments and prizes excluded.

The club enter 2026 with heightened sporting ambitions after finishing runners-up in the 2025 Copa do Brasil. They have retained the core of the squad, made targeted additions and are controlling the payroll, prioritising signings viewed as guaranteed starters for coach Fernando Diniz.

After years of financial strain, Vasco are in institutional and sporting rebuild. With the SAF again under club control and president Pedrinho in charge, the aim is to balance the books while remaining competitive.

Other notable wages include Matheus França on roughly R$ one million, Thiago Mendes on about R$ 750 thousand and Lucas Piton on around R$ 480 thousand. Several players have undisclosed or unreported figures.
