Vasco agree Benjamín Garré loan to Aris Salónica | OneFootball

According to Globo.com, Vasco have agreed to loan Argentine midfielder Benjamín Garré to Aris Salónica in Greece. He was cleared by the club to travel and arrived on Tuesday.

Garré was not in the plans of the Vasco hierarchy. He struggled for minutes, particularly after the arrival of Fernando Diniz.

Signed at the start of 2025 from Krylya Sovetov in Russia for close to R$ 15 million, he had a subdued campaign. Expectations of a starting role and added creativity were not met under Carille and Diniz.

The coaching staff favoured other options, with Nuno Moreira, Rayan and Andrés Gómez starting across the season. The Colombian and the Portuguese adapted more quickly to Brazilian football. The board then waited for proposals given his low output and adaptation issues.

In total, Garré played 22 matches for Vasco, scored no goals and supplied one assist.
