Vasco make loan offer for Johan Rojas from Monterrey | OneFootball

Vasco da Gama have made an offer to sign Colombian midfielder Johan Rojas, 23, from Monterrey on a one-year loan with an option to buy.

According to PaponaColina, he is currently at Necaxa on loan and is viewed as a versatile attacking option who can operate centrally or on either flank.

His representatives view a move away from Mexican football positively and consider Vasco a good opportunity to continue his career and gain greater visibility in South America.

Rojas made his name with La Equidad in Colombia, which prompted Monterrey’s interest. The Mexican club signed him in 2024 for around two million euros.

Vasco remain active in the market for the 2026 season, prioritising midfield and attack. Rojas would fit the profile of a young signing with scope for development and future value.
