Neo Química Arena hosted a special event last Saturday (07), in celebration of International Women's Day. Midfielder Vic Albuquerque, the top scorer in the history of Corinthians women's football, took part in a special edition of the stadium tour and guided female fans through the backstage areas of the black-and-white home.

The activity was organized by the stadium itself and brought together a group made up exclusively of women. During the visit, Vic took on the role of hostess and presented different areas of the Arena, sharing details about the venue with the participants. On social media, Neo Química Arena's profile also published photos of the player alongside the fans who took part in the experience.“TOUR WITH THE STAR! In honor of International Women's Day, Vic Albuquerque was the special hostess of the People’s House Tour this Saturday. With only women present, the top scorer in women’s football for the club showed the backstage of the Arena.”

The player stayed at the stadium for about five hours during the event. The program included a tour of the Arena’s internal spaces, moments for photos with fans, and interviews given to the press. In total, according to Meu Timão, more than 300 people participated in the experience alongside the athlete.

During the tour, Vic Albuquerque also commented on the difference between the Arena’s pitch and that of Fazendinha, the stadium that usually hosts Corinthians women’s football matches. “This pitch here is very different. On a national level, I believe it’s one of the best I’ve ever played on. We really like Fazendinha because it’s very close to the fans and has a more family-friendly atmosphere, but here the pitch is well above standard,” said the player in a video published by the Timão Delas profile.

The initiative had already featured other Corinthians players in previous years. In 2024, midfielder Gabi Zanotti and forward Paulinha took part in the tour, guiding fans through the stadium. Before that, in 2023, the activity also had players Grazi, Gabi Portilho, and Andressa Alves as hosts.

The next fixture for Corinthians Women will be against Palmeiras, on Friday (13), at 9:30 p.m. (Brasília time), at Arena Barueri, for the third round of the Brazilian Women's Football Championship. The match will mark the team’s first game under coach Emily Lima.
