Liam Rosenior’s future was the hot topic on the Overlap today on Sky Sports.

They looked back at their comments from two months ago when the coach was appointed. Jamie Carragher had said “he’s not a manager for that club.”

It looks frustratingly like Carragher might be proven right.

Gary Neville had questioned the inexperience at the club, from players to manager to even the sporting directors and the owners.

Other Chelsea players could be pushing to leave in near future

Also on the agenda were the comments by Enzo Fernandez about his future. The whole group agreed that it was a bad sign for Chelsea that players like Fernandez were thinking about going.

“I wonder what Cole Palmer is feeling right now about what’s going on for the future for him,” Ian Wright pointed out.

“He signed a nine year deal, they sold him the dream. At the moment, do you see it?”

We can say with great certainty that no, we don’t see it. And we’re worried Palmer feels the same way.

In other news…

Rosenior has two weeks to try and come up with a solution to Chelsea’s huge problems. It may not be enough.

Josh Acheampong is apparently not for sale this summer – in that case, we should probably start playing him.
