Paris Saint-Germain is well on its way to securing its first UEFA Champions League title in club history.
In the opening 12 minutes, Achraf Hakimi scored to put PSG up 1-0 over Inter Milan. Less than 10 minutes later, it was Désiré Doué, who got the start over Bradley Barcola and assisted PSG’s first goal, and scored one himself.
In the 20th minute, PSG hit Inter on the counter, and it was Ousmane Dembélé who picked out Doué on the right side. The Frenchman displayed excellent control and fired a shot toward goal. It took a deflection and beat Yann Sommer to put PSG up 2-0.
Doué arrived at PSG last summer after PSG battled FC Bayern Munich for his signature. This season, the 19-year-old has scored four goals in the Champions League and recorded three assists.
The assist for Dembélé could go a long way for the Frenchman, as he is one of the favorites to win the Ballon d’Or.
