Celtic earned a well deserved point against Atalanta in Bergamo on Wednesday evening. The Scottish Champions rode their luck at times but were thorougly deserving of a result given their brave defending in the face of the Italians, who are the top scorers in Serie A. In particular, Kasper Schmeichel, Auston Trusty and Liam Scales were excellent in ensuring that Brendan Rodgers’ side returned to Glasgow with a point.
Celtic are back to domestic action on Sunday as they look to return to winning ways after two draws on the bounce.
Celtic have a double header under the lights at Paradise to look forward as they look to take a step towards ensuring that they make the knock-out phase of the competition.
