Inter star Lautaro Martinez scored a spectacular goal for Argentina against Peru last night, equalling Diego Armando Maradona’s tally for La Seleccion.
Lautaro Martinez scored his 32nd international goal Tuesday night in a World Cup qualifying game against Peru.
This means El Toro is now the joint-fifth-best scorer in his country, alongside football legend Maradona.

Only Hernan Crespo (35 goals), Sergio Aguero (42), Gabriel Omar Batistuta (54) and Leo Messi (112) have more.
Lautaro found the net at minute 55 last night with a stunning volley that sent fans at the Estadio Bombonera wild.
“I am happy because all my family came here, and I always want to give my best,” Lautaro told TyC Sports.
“This year was very positive indeed, and we ended it with a victory.
“It was a spectacular year in terms of performances, goals and games played. I want to continue playing and improving day by day.”
