It was a difficult weekend for Liverpool as we watched our side lose but in Giorgi Mamardashvili, at least one of our players had a moment to reflect back on positively.
During a match with Atletico Madrid, our stopper managed to deny Alexander Sorloth from pointblank range.

Although the match ended in a 3-0 loss for the Georgian’s side, it showcased what we have to look forward to at Anfield in the coming years.
Not the best weekend for everyone involved with the club but at least there’s a decent moment to look back on.
