Hamza Igamane’s reputation as one of Moroccan football’s most exciting rising stars continues to grow.
The 21 year old winger delivered another decisive moment for Lille on Sunday night scoring stunning late goal to secure 2-0 win over Nantes in the Ligue 1 Matchweek 8 finale.
Despite starting the match on the bench, Igamane made instant impact after coming on in the 74 minute. Just fifteen minute later, in the 89 he produced moment of magic , gliding past defenders with brilliant solo run before unleashing powerful left footed strike into the far corner leaving goalkeeper Anthony Lopes rooted to the spot.
The goal was Igamane’s third in Ligue 1 this season , an impressive tally given that he has featured predominantly as substitute. It sealed vital 3 point for Paulo Fonseca’s side after Hakon Haraldsson opened the scoring in the 8 minute.
With the win, Lille climbed to 6th place in the table on 14 point while Nantes struggles continued remaining 15th on just 6 point following their 2nd straight defeat.

The Moroccan international will look to extend his strong continental record having already scored 5 goal in the competition (4 with Rangers last season and 1 with Lille this term).
