Arsenal are keen to sign Vinicius, if the 26-year-old indicates he is ready to leave Real Madrid, with thePremier League champions open to what would be a statement signing.

Real Madrid are now set to speak with Vinicius and his representatives this week to resolve the situation. TheLa Liga giants do not want to allow the Brazilian to enter the final season of his deal and will not run the risk of losing the winger as a free agent in 2027.

Jose Mourinho is keen to keep Vinicius at the club andSky Sports are reporting that Real's interest in signing RB Leipzig winger Yan Diomande is not dependent on the former's future.

Real have reportedly reached an agreement with Leipzig to sign the 19-year-old for a fee in excess of €100m with Diomande set to travel for a medical this week.

The Spaniards want to add Diomande to their forward line alongside Kylian Mbappe and Vinicius, with the club keen to agree a new contract with the latter.

Paris Saint-Germain had been frontrunners to land Diomande but have now withdrawn from the race, while Arsenal, Manchester City and Liverpool had all expressed interest. Liverpool had an offer of around £85m turned down for the Ivorian earlier this summer.
