Club América have announced the signing of Brazilian midfielder Vinicius Lima from Fluminense.
According to Americayya.net, the move follows Álvaro Fidalgo’s departure. The coaching staff selected Vinicius Moreira de Lima to cover the role, even if his profile differs.

Lima has been at Fluminense since the 2023 season, a regular starter and important in title wins that included Brazil’s Serie A and the Copa Libertadores.
He joins on a one-year loan that carries an obligation to buy, which will be triggered only if he meets objectives written into the deal.
A welcome message addressed to Vinicius accompanied the announcement.
