According to L'Équipe, Vitinha went off before half-time with a suspected right ankle problem during Paris Saint-Germain's match against Lyon.
PSG endured a torrid first half on Sunday night at the Parc des Princes. They trailed by two, Endrick scoring in the sixth minute and Moreira adding a second in the 18th, then Gonçalo Ramos missed a penalty in the 33rd.
The Portuguese midfielder, 26, was replaced by Warren Zaïre-Emery in the 39th minute after feeling discomfort in his right ankle.
He appeared to be hurt on landing following a duel with Endrick near the Lyon penalty area.
Vitinha limped off and removed his right boot as soon as he left the pitch.
He will undergo an MRI on Monday to determine the nature of the injury.
