Vitória host São Paulo in the Brasileirão on Saturday, 11 April 2026 at Estádio Manoel Barradas, with the visitors pushing near the top and the hosts aiming to climb from mid-table.

Vitória won the most recent home meeting in December 2025, though São Paulo have dominated the broader head to head across recent seasons. Both sides enter with contrasting positions in the table, sharpening the stakes.

Leão da Barra's league form has been mixed, drawing at Chapecoense after defeat at Cruzeiro, but they did hit four in midweek in the Copa do Nordeste. Tricolor Paulista arrive on the back of a 4-1 league win over Cruzeiro and an away victory at Boston River in the Sudamericana, following a draw at Internacional.

Nêgo are without Marinho, Riccieli, Pedro Henrique, Edu, Dudu, Ismael, Claudinho, Fintelman and Mateus Silva through injury, while Edenilson is suspended. Soberano list Lucas Moura, Alan Javier Franco, Pablo Maia, Paulinho and Ryan Francisco as injured.

Leão da Barra may lean on strong home metrics. Nine of their 11 points have come in Salvador and they have conceded only two home league goals. Tricolor Paulista, with just seven conceded in 10 league games, could back a well organised defence on the road and look to build on recent momentum.

A win would move Leão da Barra to 14 points and could lift them towards the mid-table pack. Tricolor Paulista would reach 23 points with victory and could tighten their grip on the Copa Libertadores places near the top.
