Vlahovic surgery is successful, Juventus without striker until March 2026

Dusan Vlahovic has undergone surgery to repair a tendon in the left adductor, confirmed Juventus, with reports he will be out for at least 14 weeks.
As expected, the striker flew to London for consultation with a specialist following the injury during the Serie A win over Cagliari at the weekend.
Juventus released a formal statement confirming the details of the surgical intervention, which repaired a tendon avulsion of the left adductor.

“The procedure was performed by a team led by Prof. Ernest Schilders and Rowena Johnson, and in the presence of Club doctor Marco Freschi, at Mayo Clinic Healthcare in London and the Wellington Hospital, and the operation was completely successful.
“The player will begin his rehabilitation program from Friday, 5 December.”
According to the initial reports following the operation, it is believed that Vlahovic will be out of action for at least 14 weeks.

That fits with the suggestions he would require a minimum of three months to even consider a full recovery, and is not expected back on the field until March 2026.
He is the second Juventus player to have surgery today, as defender Federico Gatti was in Nantes to undergo an operation on a torn meniscus in the right knee.
