Vlahovic’s final Juventus season more costly than Kolo Muani and Alajbegovic combined | OneFootball

Juventus have restructured their attacking department with the double signing of Randal Kolo Muani and Kerim Alajbegovic, who, combined, will have less of an impact on the club’s accounts than Dusan Vlahovic did on his own in the final year of his Bianconeri contract.

How Juventus ‘saved’ money with Kolo Muani and Alajbegovic signings

Juventus officially announced both the signing of Kolo Muani from Paris Saint-Germain and Alajbegovic from Bayer Leverkusen on Sunday, just before the squad set off for their pre-season tour of South-East Asia and Australia.

Alajbegovic signs for Juventus

Kolo Muani arrived at a cost of €38m, plus up to €12m in bonuses and ancillary fees of €3.2m. The Frenchman has put pen to paper on a five-year contract that is worth €5.5m per season in wages. Whilst Kolo Muani will take home a net salary of €5.5m, Juventus will have to pay him around €10.2m in gross wages according to Calcio e Finanza.

Kolo Muani also has an amortised cost (the total transfer fee spread over the duration of the contract) of €8.24m per season. When added to the striker’s €10.2m gross salary, this comes to a total cost of €18.44m on Juventus’s accounts for 2026-27.

Alajbegovic, meanwhile, joined Juventus for a guaranteed fee of €30m plus bonuses of up to €5m and ancillary fees of €2m. He will receive a net salary of €3m during his first season in Turin.

Alajbegovic’s gross salary will cost Juve €5.55m in 2026-27, and with an amortised cost of €6.4m per season, the Bosnian’s first season with Juventus will be recorded as being worth €11.95m per season on the club’s accounts.

The total cost of the Kolo Muani and Alajbegovic deals on Juventus’s accounts come to a total of €30.39m.

This is significantly less than what Vlahovic had been costing Juventus on the final year of his contract in 2025-26.

The Serbian cost the Old Lady more than €41m per season on the final year of his deal.

That is largely due to the enormous transfer fee that the club spent to sign Vlahovic from Fiorentina back in 2022, which gave him an amortised cost of €19.55m on the final year of his contract, plus the striker’s €12m net salary in 2025-26, which cost the club €22.2m in gross wages.
