Wallace Yan confirms Flamengo exit after Bangu match as Bragantino deal agreed

Wallace Yan has confirmed his departure from Flamengo, offering an emotional farewell after the match against Bangu at Moça Bonita.

According to Coluna Do Fla, Flamengo agreed his sale to Red Bull Bragantino on Wednesday 24 for 10 million euros, about R$ 63 million, with the Bragança Paulista club acquiring 70% of his economic rights and Flamengo retaining 30%.

The young forward said he had learnt a great deal at the club, that leaving felt like leaving home, and that he hopes to bring plenty of joy in the future. His goodbye prompted a strong reaction on social media.

Handed his first senior opportunity in 2024, the centre-forward made 37 appearances, scoring seven goals and providing five assists.

He departs having won the Campeonato Brasileiro, Copa do Brasil, Libertadores, Campeonato Carioca and Supercopa do Brasil with Flamengo.
