Wallace Yan expected to move to Red Bull Bragantino as Flamengo reopen talks | OneFootball

Wallace Yan returned to training and was named in Flamengo's squad to face Internacional on Wednesday 4. According to Coluna Do Fla, a move to Red Bull Bragantino is back on after talks were reopened.

Talks had stalled due to a clause that blocked the agreement, but dialogue has resumed. There is an expectation he will be cleared to undergo medical tests in Bragança Paulista in the coming days.

Bragantino first offered a fixed fee, then sought to split the package, half fixed and half in performance-related add-ons, prompting Flamengo to pull back. Flamengo also wanted a share of profit on a future sale, which the São Paulo club disliked.

On 14 January, after Flamengo's defeat to Bangu, Wallace Yan bid farewell in tears. Internally, the board felt he had acted too early because the agreement was not signed.

With talks advancing, there is an expectation he will not be included for Saturday 7 against Sampaio Corrêa. It is the final round of the Campeonato Carioca classification phase, with kick-off at 21:00, Brasília time, at the Maracanã.
