Barcelona star Raphinha was quick to make contact with compatriot Neymar Jr, in the aftermath of the attacker’s World Cup call-up being made official.

Veteran winger Neymar has of course seen his name dominate the headlines across world football over the last 24 hours.

This comes after the Barcelona icon’s incessant efforts to secure for himself a place in Carlo Ancelotti’s latest Brazil squad proved successful.

Neymar has beaten out the likes of Chelsea frontman João Pedro to take his place on the flight to international football’s grandest showpiece this summer.

Messages of congratulations have since come flooding in from across the globe, for a player considered a modern legend of the game.

And as alluded to above, amongst the first to touch base with Neymar late on Monday was none other than Raphinha.

The former has today unveiled footage on his official YouTube channel, of Barca standout Raphinha video calling Neymar to congratulate his fellow countryman and close friend on his Canarinha call:
