Footage stemming from Barcelona’s meeting with RCD Mallorca on Saturday has piqued attentions amongst the former’s supporters online.

This comes after a member of the Blaugrana’s defensive ranks, in Jules Koundé, was spotted angrily coming to the defence of teammate Raphinha.

Wide-man Raphinha was for his part involved in a heated sequence at Son Moix yesterday evening.

En route to a 3-0 Barcelona victory, the Brazilian was responsible for a dangerous challenge late in the first-half.

Mallorca’s players were left incensed by as much, quickly calling for Raphinha to be given his marching orders.

This anger spilled over beyond the half-time whistle, with the former Leeds United man having been confronted by a number of the hosts’ players and staff members.

As alluded to above, though, Raphinha had strong backup, in the form of teammate Jules Koundé.

Upon spotting the attacker being surrounded on his way back to the dressing room, stopper Koundé furiously entered the scene, needing to be held back to ensure that he did now allow his emotions to get the better of him:
