Watch: Newcastle fans chant name of one Barcelona star ahead of UCL clash | OneFootball

Supporters of Barcelona and Newcastle United alike came together on Wednesday evening, to make known their appreciation for the talents of the former’s midfield ranks.

The player in question? Pedri.

Barcelona are of course currently in England, amid preparations for the club’s European season opener on Thursday evening.

A meeting with the aforementioned Newcastle lies in store, at St. James’ Park.

On the eve of the fixture, Hansi Flick’s squad, in turn, made their way to the ground for a warmup training session.

And as alluded to above, upon departing St. James’ Park, the Blaugrana’s squad were greeted by a large group of adoring fans.

The crowd was made up of supporters of both sides, eager to catch a glimpse of Barca’s star-studded squad.

And it was the emergence of one player in particular which caused quite the stir amongst those in attendance.

As showcased below, in footage provided by ‘BarcaTimes’ on ‘X’, the Barcelona and Newcastle faithful joined forces to chant the name of midfield standout Pedri after the Spanish international emerged from the stadium:
