Wesley has signalled where his future might lie, with recent social media activity prompting Benfica to reconsider a move.
According to Glorioso 1904, the Al Nassr winger deleted images of himself in the club’s shirt, hinting his future may not be with Jorge Jesus’s side.
With Benfica exploring a deal, the player appeared to rebuff them indirectly by indicating a desire to return to Corinthians.
The Brazil under-20 international posted an image of Neo Química Arena accompanied by the track Louco P'ra Voltar, a nod to the São Paulo club that developed him.
This comes amid links to Benfica, and their interest may already have cooled.
This season for Al Nassr, Wesley, valued at 5 million euros, has played 18 matches, nine in the Saudi League, five in the AFC Champions League Two, and two each in the Super Cup and King’s Cup. Across 1,036 minutes he has scored four goals and provided two assists.
