Wesley is establishing himself as one of the revelations of Gian Piero Gasperini’s Roma, with performances that are repaying the coach’s faith.
Even in the match against Sassuolo, which the Giallorossi won 2-0, the 2003-born player’s introduction had a decisive impact, changing the course of the match.
The Brazilian talent has long been in Manchester City’s sights, with rumors suggesting a possible offer as early as January.
Furthermore, Tottenham and Newcastle are also interested in the former Flamengo player, but no club has yet submitted an official offer to the Trigoria club.
However, as reported in today’s edition of Il Messaggero, the player’s entourage has denied any speculation of a transfer during the winter transfer window, suggesting that Wesley will remain at Roma until at least June.
In this first half of the season, the number 43 has already found the net three times and has often been among the best players in Gasperini’s squad.
