West Ham have confirmed that Adama Traore and Lukasz Fabianski will leave as free agents after publishing their retained list. The club said in a statement that both will be listed as free transfers when their contracts expire on 30 June.
Their 14-year Premier League stay ended with relegation, despite a final-day 3-0 win at home to newly promoted Leeds, who had secured safety with three games remaining.
Fabianski, 41, previously spent seven seasons at the club from 2018-25, won Hammer of the Year in 2019 and was part of the 2023 UEFA Europa Conference League-winning squad. He returned on a one-year deal in September 2025.
Traore joined from Fulham in January and made 12 appearances, starting three FA Cup ties with assists against Brentford and Leeds, plus nine substitute outings in the Premier League.
French defender Axel Disasi returns to Chelsea at the end of his loan after 17 appearances across the Premier League and FA Cup, including a goal against Leeds in the sixth round. Development players Michael Forbes, Junior Robinson, Tyron Akpata, Daniel Rigge, David Chigwada and Tom Wooster will also depart, along with academy scholar Jonathan Unwin.
