West Ham are aiming for a double fitness lift before facing Wolves. The Hammers, led by former boss Nuno, occupy the final relegation place and are one point from safety. Wolves have had three and a half weeks without a game.

“Summerville is improving. Him, Todibo and Wilson are improving. We are positive that they can be available (against Wolves). Mavropanos is also clear of the concussion protocol.” He was speaking to The Athletic.

The case alleges DR Congo did not sanction Aaron Wan-Bissaka’s release to return to his parent club.

The right-back missed the Hammers’ FA Cup penalty shootout defeat to Leeds.

He had been part of the Congo side that qualified for the World Cup via a play-off, then stayed on for national celebrations. The complaint centres on the club not granting permission for him to remain in Congo.
