The Athletic reports that West Ham are likely to sell Crysencio Summerville, raising the prospect of further reunions with Leeds United next season.
The travelling away end taunted Summerville and the home support throughout, and Leeds’ social media had joined in before kick-off by posting an escalator photo featuring Ethan Ampadu and Dominic Calvert-Lewin heading up as an arm resembling the ex-Leeds winger went down. On the final day, Nuno Espirito Santo’s side beat Daniel Farke’s men 3-0, but Tottenham’s win over Everton consigned West Ham to relegation.
Europa League winners Aston Villa are understood to be among the suitors. Liverpool, now led by former Bournemouth manager Andoni Iraola, are also believed to be keen.
Should he join a Champions League club, Summerville would face Leeds again. The Dutchman left Elland Road in summer 2024 after the club failed to win promotion back to the Premier League.
West Ham signed him by activating a £25 million release clause to bring him to the London Stadium. Many Leeds supporters have struggled to forgive the timing of his exit.
AC Milan are also considering a move, and the winger returned five goals and four assists in 31 Premier League appearances last season.
