West Ham’s Adama Traore doubtful for Leeds United as Nuno Espirito Santos gives update

Adama Traore is a doubt for Sunday’s final-day visit of Leeds United, with Irons boss Nuno Espirito Santos otherwise reporting a clean bill of health.

Traore has missed West Ham’s last two matches with a muscular quadriceps injury, and Santos said he was still recovering before last weekend’s trip to Newcastle United, according to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk.

After another week of recovery, Santos believes it will be hard for the 30-year-old to be ready in time for Sunday.

Speaking on Friday, the manager said the rest of the squad are okay, with small knocks that need assessing. He added that he hopes everybody will be okay today.

Leeds United travel on Sunday for the final day fixture, with West Ham’s options dependent on those late checks.
