We're close to the end of the 2025/26 Women's Super League which has at least seen a new champion crowned but what is left to play for on the final day of the season?
There's still one game remaining before the final day with Arsenal hosting Everton later this evening in a game that could see the Gunners move ahead of the Blues.
But for the most part we know the big ramifications of the league: Manchester City are champions, Chelsea and Arsenal took the other European places, and Leicester City will face Charlton Athletic in the promotion/relegation play-off.
There are still a few things to look at on the final day of the season though...
The importance of second place
Currently it's Chelsea who sit in second although that could change that evening should Arsenal get at least a draw at home to Everton.
However, both teams face difficult final match of the season in games that initially looked like they may have been more decisive when the fixture list was first announced.
Chelsea will host a Manchester United side eager to prove themselves after missing out on European football. Meanwhile, Arsenal host a Liverpool side looking to bounce back from their dramatic FA Cup semi-final defeat to Brighton & Hove Albion at the weekend.
The Gunners know that as long as they win both of their games they'll finish second regardless and go straight into the league phase of the Champions League.
Final warm up for FA Cup finalists
Although the WSL will be wrapping up we still have an FA Cup final to come on May 31st between champions City and Brighton & Hove Albion.
Both still have to navigate their final game of the season and there will no doubt be a worry about risking players ahead of such a big game
City will travel to West Ham United and will be expected to continue their winning ways while the Seagulls host Tottenham Hotspur who are one place ahead of them – albeit with a seven-point advantage.
London City Lionesses looking to finish in the top half
It's been a strange debut season for the Lionesses who sacked manager Jocelyn Prêcheur midway through the season for Eder Maestre but results have not really taken off since.
Indeed, despite the vast amount spent by the promoted side they may not finish in the top half of the table unless that is Brighton slip up at home to Spurs while London City need to beat Aston Villa, who are also looking to move up to eighth in the table should Everton fail to beat bottom-of-the-league Leicester City.
