Chelsea are waiting to discover who will join them in the semi-final draw
The Carabao Cup semi-final draw will take place tonight as teams move one step closer to claiming the first trophy on offer this season.
There is a scenario where it is an all-London Carabao Cup draw with four teams from the captial featuring in the three respective quarter-final ties that are still to be played.
Chelsea won 3-1 away at League One leaders Cardiff, Fulham face holders Newcastle, Brentford take on eight-time winners Manchester City, and Arsenal do battle with Crystal Palace.
Due to Palace’s fixture scheduling, their tie at the Emirates Stadium will not be played until next week which means both teams will be in the hat for the semi-final draw.
Here’s everything you need to know about the draw for the Carabao Cup semi-final.
The draw will take place following the conclusion of Newcastle vs Fulham on the evening of Wednesday, December 17, 2025.
The quarter-final clash at St James’ Park kicks off at 8.15pm, so is expected to conclude around 10.15pm. The draw is scheduled for 10.35pm.
If the scores are level at the end of 90 minutes, the game will go straight to a penalty shootout. The draw would then likely be delayed.
Sky Sports presenter Mark Chapman will host the draw, alongside pundits Jamie Redknapp and Shay Given.
TV channel: In the UK, the Carabao Cup draw will be broadcast live on Sky Sports Main Event.
Live stream: Subscribers can tune online via the Sky Go website or app.
The ball numbers will be confirmed shortly.
The semi-final first-leg ties are pencilled in for the week commencing Monday, January 12, 2026 with the return legs scheduled for the week commencing Monday, February 2, 2026.
Meanwhile, the final will take place at Wembley Stadium on Sunday, March 22, 2026.
