Leeds United ended their first campaign back in the Premier League in 14th, eight points above the drop. With captain Ethan Ampadu signing a new four-year deal, attention turns to where their players sit in the division’s market-value picture.
According to Transfermarkt, Manchester City’s Erling Haaland is valued at €200m, with Rayan Cherki next at €90m. Arsenal’s most valuable is Declan Rice at €120m, ahead of Bukayo Saka on €110m.
Chelsea’s Cole Palmer and Moises Caicedo are each put at €100m, with Enzo Fernandez next on €90m. For Liverpool, Dominik Szoboszlai and Florian Wirtz come in at €100m apiece, followed by Alexander Isak at €85m.
Aston Villa’s Morgan Rogers is listed at €90m, with Amadou Onana at €45m. Newcastle United’s Sandro Tonali is assessed at €80m, with Bruno Guimaraes at €70m.
Leeds remain some way short of calling themselves established in the top flight, a status chairman Paraag Marathe links to surviving the first three years back. Daniel Farke’s side still finished above Crystal Palace, Tottenham Hotspur and Nottingham Forest.
West Ham went down with Burnley and Wolves, while Coventry City, Ipswich Town and Hull City were promoted as champions, runners-up and play-off winners respectively.
