According to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk, Leeds United will be in the FA Cup quarter-final draw for the first time since 2002/03 after Sunday’s 3-0 win over Norwich City.
Goals from Sean Longstaff, Gabriel Gudmundsson and Joel Piroe capped a dominant display by Daniel Farke’s side, who will discover their last-eight opponents tonight.
It is 23 years to the day since a 1-0 quarter-final defeat at Sheffield United on 9 March 2003, Steven Kabba scoring on 78 minutes during a strange spell between a Champions League semi-final and Premier League relegation.
Paul Robinson left for Tottenham Hotspur in 2004, later played for Blackburn Rovers and Burnley, and now works as a pundit.
Danny Mills had a loan at Middlesbrough before joining Manchester City and now appears as a pundit on Sky Sports. Lucas Radebe stayed after relegation, retired at Elland Road in 2005, and became a club ambassador last September, welcomed back during the 2-2 draw with Bournemouth.
Teddy Lucic’s loan was brief and disappointing, after Germany he returned to Sweden before retiring in 2015, and he also managed KF Velebit for three years until 2014. Ian Harte moved to Levante before returning to the UK, then became an agent representing former winger Jack Clarke.
Harry Kewell later joined Galatasaray, a move that soured any remaining ties with Elland Road, and after retiring moved into coaching. He is currently manager of Hanoi FC in Vietnam.
