The photo that Newcastle United fans had all really really wanted to see last night.

So where is it?

The Newcastle United Head Coach introduced this tradition of a post-match everybody included photo following each victory.

Eddie Howe felt that it had worked as a bonding exercise when he was at Bournemouth.

The Newcastle United women’s team do the same now I have noticed.

Copying the Eddie Howe Newcastle United men’s team tradition of this photo in the dressing room, including all the players who played in that match, all of the players at the stadium who didn’t play, all the coaching staff and other support staff.

We had the photos after the Southampton, Forest and Tottenham (see above).

Then after Wolves, it was another winning snapshot post-match, the fourth win and fourth post-match photo of the season…

They are always great to see, plus a massive bonus just how much it winds up fans of certain other clubs and journalists.

‘Look at them, think they have won the Premier League / Champions League… etc etc’

So anyway, Tuesday night was a fifth win of the season for United from the eight games played so far.

Yet no photo released by the club.

Did somebody forget to take the photo?

Did somebody drop the camera?

Did somebody forget to release the photo on the club’s official media?

Has the post-match winning photo tradition now been brought to an end?

We need to be told!

Or just possibly was it deemed too much to do such a post-match celebration photo when you have beaten ‘only’ a League Two side at St James’ Park..?

I wouldn’t agree on that last one, a win is a win and we should be celebrating every time Newcastle United win any first team match!
