According to L'Équipe, four players in Tuesday’s Chelsea v PSG second leg risk missing the quarter-final first leg with a yellow, and several others are in danger elsewhere.
Less than a week after PSG’s 5-2 first-leg win, the return is in London at 21:00. Those in jeopardy, if their sides reach the last eight, are Nuno Mendes and Khvitcha Kvaratskhelia for PSG, Enzo Fernandez and Andrey Santos for Chelsea.
On Wednesday, Liverpool face Galatasaray, with the winners to meet PSG or Chelsea. Nine players are at risk: three at Liverpool, Virgil van Dijk, Curtis Jones and Ryan Gravenberch, and six at Galatasaray, Rolland Sallai, Victor Osimhen, Noa Lang, Ismail Jakobs, Ugurcan Çakir and Abdülkerim Bardakc, plus coach Okan Buruk.
Real Madrid’s Jude Bellingham, Vinicius Jr and Aurélien Tchouaméni are also a booking from a ban. The same applies to Gianluigi Donnarumma and Marc Guéhi at Manchester City, Dayot Upamecano and coach Vincent Kompany at Bayern Munich, and Lamine Yamal and Fermin Lopez at Barça.
Joshua Kimmich and Michael Olise, who appeared to seek a booking in last week’s 1-6 against Atalanta to miss the second leg, remain available for the quarter-finals after UEFA’s disciplinary body chose not to open a case.
At Tottenham, Randal Kolo Muani is on the list, while at Atlético, Thiago Almada, Clément Lenglet, Robin Le Normand, Marcos Llorente, Guiliano Simeone and his father and coach Diego Simeone must take care.
