Glasgow City are the only confirmed British side who will be in the draw for the second qualifying round of the Women’s Europa Cup.
The Scottish champions beat Irish side Athlone Town 6-0 on aggregate in the first-qualifying round.
Glasgow City could be joined by Manchester United, who are currently in the Women’s Champions League.
Marc Skinner’s side are 1-0 down after the first-leg of their Champions League third qualifying round clash against Brann.
If United fail to turn things around on Thursday night, they will be demoted to the Women’s Europa Cup.
Other teams who are currently set to drop into the Women’s Europa Cup are AS Roma and Eintracht Frankfurt, who lost their first-legs to Sporting CP and Real Madrid, respectively.
The likes of Paris FC, Atletico Madrid and BK Hacken are also at risk of dropping from the Champions League to the Europa Cup.
Hibernian failed to make it out of the first round of qualifying in the Women’s Europa Cup after they lost 5-1 to Inter Milan over two legs.
The inaugural Women’s Europa Cup is a straight knockout tournament.
It hasn’t adopted the same format used by the Champions League this year, and doesn’t even include a group stage.
Friday’s draw features 32 teams who will look to qualify for the last 16. Each round will be played over two legs, including the final.
The draw for the second qualifying round of the Women’s Europa Cup will take place at 2pm (BST) on Friday, September 19th.
This will set 16 two-legged ties, which will be played on October 7th/8th and October 15th/16th.
Half of the clubs will be seeded and will be drawn against unseeded sides. Seedings are determined by UEFA club rankings.
If Manchester United are demoted to the Women’s Europa Cup, they will be seeded for Friday’s draw.
Glasgow City will be hoping Thursday’s results go their way so they can be seeded for the draw.
