Sunderland’s deadline day reshaped the squad hierarchy. Simon Adingra left on loan to AS Monaco with an option to buy in the summer, and Ecuador international Nilson Angulo arrived from Anderlecht, prompting a fresh look at market values.

According to Transfermarkt, record signing Habib Diarra remains the club’s most valuable player at €32m. He is followed by Noah Sadiki and Chris Rigg at €25m, with Chemsdine Talbi at €22m. Granit Xhaka has been the season’s standout on the pitch, yet his €10m valuation reflects his 33 years.

Back-up goalkeeper Melker Ellborg and Ivorian youngster Jocelin Ta Bi also joined this winter. Anthony Patterson, Arthur Masuaku and Dan Neil were loaned out, while Patrick Roberts’ loan to Birmingham City became permanent.

Robin Roefs is valued at €18m, a €6m rise since his summer move from NEC Nijmegen. That places him fourth among Premier League goalkeepers aged 23 and under, behind Mark Verbruggen at €35m, Manchester United’s Senne Lammens and Manchester City’s James Trafford, both at €25m.

Roefs edges into Sunderland’s top 10, ahead of Dan Ballard at €16m, Nordi Mukiele at €15m and Omar Alderete at €12m. New signing Angulo is priced at €7m, lower than Dennis Cirkin at €8m, his figure based on Belgian Pro League data and sure to rise with the next update.

The lower end is packed with fringe options, and 35-year-old back-up goalkeeper Simon Moore carries the lowest valuation at €100k in Regis Le Bris’ squad.
