Reigan Heskey made his senior debut for Pep Guardiola’s side on Wednesday, featuring as a second-half substitute for City in our Carabao Cup game against Huddersfield Town.
Heskey featured alongside Phil Foden, James Trafford, Oscar Bobb, Nico O’Reilly, Divine Mukasa and Rico Lewis, all fellow Academy graduates or prospects.
And his older brother Jaden Heskey, making them the first brothers to play for City since Kolo and Yaya Toure.
The 17-year-old is a tricky, clinical winger who often operates on the left and looks to cut inside onto his favoured right foot.
He has shown his eye for goal for City’s Academy since the age of 15, scoring from the penalty spot in our UEFA Youth League win over Young Boys in November 2023.
The following season, 2024/25, Heskey made the step up into City’s Under-18s squad in what was an incredible first campaign in the Under-18 Premier League North.
Everyone at Manchester City would like to congratulate Reigan on his senior debut!
