Corinthians have confirmed the signing of right-back Pedro Milans on a deal to the end of 2029. The 23-year-old Uruguayan arrives at Parque São Jorge to compete with Matheuzinho.

It is his first move abroad. A Juventud de Las Piedras graduate, he debuted in December 2019 with 75 minutes against Nacional.

He later featured for Uruguay at under-17 level in 2019, scoring against Brazil in a 1-1 draw. For Juventud he made 60 appearances, with three goals and six assists, and also filled in at left-back before joining Peñarol in July 2022.

Milans debuted for Peñarol in September 2022 against Boston River in the Copa Uruguay round of 16. He became a regular and increased his minutes year on year, peaking at 42 matches last year.

He added 16 Libertadores games and faced Flamengo, Botafogo and Atlético Mineiro six times in 2024. His contract ended in December 2025 after a salary impasse, leaving with 112 outings, three goals, eight assists and titles in the 2024 league and 2025 Copa Uruguay.

"He is a full-back who helps more in attack than in defence. He links defence to attack very well, reaches the byline and provides plenty of assists."

He was speaking to Meu Timao.
