Ademola Lookman and Inter continue to wait for a response to their latest and many say final offer of €42m plus €3m bonuses, but Atalanta hold firm for €50m also because of RB Leipzig.
The striker has made it abundantly clear he wants to join the Nerazzurri, even if Premier League clubs might be prepared to pay more.

The only formal proposals have come from Inter, who raised their opening €40m bid to €42m plus €3m in add-ons, which in turn was significantly better than the rumoured €40m plus €5m in performance-related bonuses.
Although it was reported that Atalanta would turn that down, there has not been an official response yet to the written bid.

Tuttomercatoweb believe the answer will come by the end of today, which could either open the door to Lookman joining Inter, or prompt them to turn towards other targets.
Sport Mediaset point out part of the problem is that Atalanta owe 10 per cent of the profit from the sale to his former club RB Leipzig, having purchased him from the Germans in 2022 for €9.35m plus bonuses.
According to them, the details are a little more complicated, with Atalanta owing RB Leipzig 10 per cent of the profit up to €20m, rising to 15 per cent above that.
This means with an offer of €40m, Atalanta would earn €28.5m, compared to earning €36.5m if the proposal was worth €50m.
