Sunderland unveiled their 2026/27 away strip on Friday, but no goalkeeper shirt featured. According to Sunderland Echo, the club has changed its roll-out, with a dedicated goalkeeper launch planned for July.
The goalkeeper range is planned to carry its own design, separate from the home, away and third releases.
The pink and black away kit opens a multi-year collaboration with the Elvis Presley estate, with this first edition celebrating his early breakthrough.
The shirt went on sale without a front-of-shirt sponsor as talks continue over a new 2026/27 deal. Last season Sunderland had a one-year agreement with Asian gambling firm W88, which cannot be renewed because a Premier League ban on front-of-shirt gambling sponsors is coming into force this summer.
Interim CEO Tom Burwell is running the partner search with Chief Commercial Officer Scott McCubbin and is confident of securing improved terms on last season's W88 agreement.
Supporters can buy the away shirt without a sponsor for the whole 2026/27 campaign, and will be able to add the new partner at club shops once it is confirmed.
