Sunderland unveiled their 2026/27 away kit on Friday, but no goalkeeper shirt accompanied the launch.
According to Sunderland Echo, the club have changed approach this season, planning a separate July launch for goalkeeper kits, which will carry a design independent of the outfield releases.
The pink and black strip begins a multi-year collaboration with the Elvis Presley estate, with this first edition nodding to his early breakthrough.
Talks are ongoing over a new front-of-shirt deal for 2026/27. Last season’s one-year agreement with Asian gambling firm W88 cannot be renewed or extended as a Premier League ban comes into force this summer.
Interim CEO Tom Burwell is running the search with Chief Commercial Officer Scott McCubbin, and is confident the club will secure improved terms on the agreement reached with W88 last season.
The away kit will be sold without a sponsor for the whole campaign, though supporters will be able to add the new partner at club shops once announced.
